Everyone in the radio and television broadcasting industry should have a copy of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules relevant to their operations. For most broadcast stations, this will include:

- Part 2 contains Frequency Allocations, including radio
- Part 11 (Emergency Alert System)
- Part 17 (Construction, marking and lighting of antenna structures)
- Part 73 (Regulations for radio and TV)
- Part 74 (Broadcast auxiliary, low-power TV and translators).
To get the copy of all of these FCC Regulations for broadcasters, you'll need to purchase two Code of Federal Regulations, Title 47, Telecommunication volumes: a) CFR Title 47 Parts 0-19, and b) CFR Title 47 Parts 70-79.
