Marine Fisheries Review, Vol 8 4 No 1-2, 2022. Published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), is the oldest and most prestigious marine fishery science journal in the United States. The Bulletin publishes original research within the broad discipline of fishery science. Research fields include the following: ecology, oceanography, and limnology; mariculture; ocean pollution; physiology, behavior, and taxonomy of fishes and other marine organisms; gear technology; and mathematics, statistics, and economics relating to commercial and recreational fishing practices.
Government officials rely on the science documented in the articles published in Fishery Bulletin for developing U.S. policy on both fishing regulations and conservation measures. Scientists, marine biologists, students and teachers studying marine life and preservation, and members of the general public interested in fishing and marine fishery science would find this Bulletin of great value.
