ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Paul W. Westermeyer joined the Marine Corps History Division as a historian in 2005. Mr. Westermeyer is the author of U.S. Marines in Battle: Al-Khafji, published by Marine Corps History Division in 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in military history from the Ohio State University.
