This publication is part of the Secretary of Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. It addresses the 4 treatments of historic properties: preservation, rehabilitation, restoration, and reconstruction. This set of Guidelines illustrates how to apply these four treatments to historic buildings in a way that meets the Standards.
