
The CFR Index and Finding Aids volume is revised once a year as of January 1, and contains: A subject/agency index for rules currently codified in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). It includes:
- A list of agency-prepared indexes appearing in individual CFR volumes.
- A table of laws and Presidential documents cited as authority for regulations currently codified in the CFR.
- A list of CFR titles, chapters, subchapters, and parts.
- An alphabetical list of agencies appearing in the CFR.
Lawyers, law librarians and law students should be familiar with the Code of Federal Regulations. Law libraries and some academic libraries should have a copy of this publication for their patrons. In addition, members of government and policymakers, members of Congress, tax preparers, investment counselors and brokers, social activists, political consultants, media writers and producers, university instructors and professors, political scientists, and taxpayers.
