Description
By John A. Wahlquist, et al. This fascinating volume adds historical and practical context going back to U.S. policy and practice in interrogations and torture during World War II, the Vietnam conflict, and the most recent U.S. war in Iraq. The book contributes to the high-profile public dialogue on how U.S. military and civilian agencies can best obtain information from prisoners of war and other categories of legal and illegal combatants without compromising the principles upon which the nation was founded.

Reviews & More About this Product
Reviews from Goodreads:
Spencer Williardson rated this book with three stars on Goodreads and had this to say, "This book is a collection of three different works on interrogation which were written by students at the Defense Intelligence College (Formerly Joint Military Intelligence College JMIC). The essays themselves were interesting, and thought provoking. What the book lacked was a good conclusion tying the disparate essays with their differing conclusions and recommendations together. I recommend this book for those that are interested in interrogation, the problems of detention in conflict, or related topics."
