Celebrate the beauty of America's National Parks with a stunning poster showcasing art by the iconic artist Charley Harper! In the 1970s and 1980s, artist Charley Harper created 10 illustrations of the life and landscapes of the national parks. The National Park Service's Harpers Ferry Center for Media Services developed a series of national parks posters using these illustrations to showcase the diversity of plants and animals in their environments.  Harper's unique minimalist style is brought to life in vivid colors, highlighting the intricate details and whimsical creatures found within our national treasures. This flagship project had a lasting influence on the graphic identity of the National Park Service. Perfect for nature lovers and art enthusiasts alike.

The CIA’s Historical Review Program identifies and declassifies collections of documents that detail the Agency’s analysis and activities relating to historically significant topics and events. These collections, centered on a theme or event, are joined with supporting analysis, essays, video, audio, and photographs, and showcased in a booklet plus DVD.

The mission of the Historical Review Program is to broaden access to CIA historical material in order to promote a greater understanding of the scope and context of past actions. Not only does it aim to improve current decision-making and analysis by facilitating reflection on the impacts and effects arising from past foreign policy decisions, it also showcases CIA’s contributions to national security by providing the American public with valuable insight into its inner workings. Finally, it demonstrates the CIA’s commitment to the Open Government Initiative and its three core values: Transparency, Participation, and Collaboration.

The Office of Public Affairs (OPA) advises the Director of the CIA and other senior leaders on media, public relations and communication matters. OPA is composed of three mission areas:

  1. Media Relations- Interacts with the press and the entertainment industry
  2. Public Communications- Manages public communications, including managing the CIA website content, organizing public events with CIA officials, distributing publications and responding to public inquiries
  3. Internal Communications- Employee communications, including the CIA Intranet
