Each year, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) prepares the President's proposed Federal Government budget for the upcoming Federal fiscal year, which runs from October 1 through September 30 of the following year.

OMB is responsible for Federal budget development and execution, a significant government-wide process managed from the Executive Office of the President and a mechanism by which a President implements decisions, policies, priorities, and actions in all areas of the Federal Government (from economic recovery to health care to energy policy to national security).

The Federal Budget typically consists of four volumes, including:

  • the main "Budget" document with the Budget Message of the President, information on the President's priorities and budget overviews by agency, and summary tables;
  • "Analytical Perspectives" that contains analyses that are designed to highlight specified subject areas;
  • "Historical Tables" that provides data on budget receipts, outlays, surpluses or deficits, Federal debt over a time period
  •  an "Appendix" with detailed information on individual Federal agency programs and appropriation accounts that constitute the budget.

A CD-ROM version of the Budget also is produced which contains all the budget documents in electronic format, typically in PDF form as well as some spreadsheets.

In this official colelction of resources published by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), under the Department of Justice, you will find historical references about this agency and the types of crime fighting cases that they have encountered including cyber security cases, missing children, active shooter responses, and dealing with domestic terrorism, identifying patterns of behaviors that may lead to extremism in some people, and investigations that may impact fraud, scams, and corruption

Career service award certificates for 35, 40, 45 and 50 years of service and the retirement certificate will have gold seals and are sold in packages of 10. Printed on high quality, off-white heavy paper stock, each version comes in one of two sizes: either 8 X10 inches to fit standard certificate folders or 8.5 X 11 inches for frames.

Each certificate is embossed with a beautiful metallic version in either bronze, silver or gold color of the Great Seal of the United States, used for official Government documents. The Great Seal depicts a laurel wreath surrounding a heraldic bald eagle with a shield over its chest, clutching  a bundle of 13 arrows in its left talon, referring to the 13 original states, and an olive branch in its right talon, together symbolizing that the United States has "a strong desire for peace, but will always be ready for war."

Each certificate is pre-printed on off-white card stock.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) preserves and promotes public confidence in the U.S. financial system by insuring deposits in banks and thrift institutions for at least $250,000; by identifying, monitoring and addressing risks to the deposit insurance funds; and by limiting the effect on the economy and the financial system when a bank or thrift institution fails.
