Availability and Ordering for the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget of the U.S. Government

  • AVAILABILITY: As of March 10, (March 4 for the "main" Budget volume), all Fiscal Year 2015 Budget documents have been officially released by OMB.
  • ORDER METHODS: Customers may order online or by phone. Once released, customers will be able to order both print and CD-ROM versions here from our online bookstore, by phone, or by shopping at our main retail bookstore located at 710 North Capitol Street NW, Washington, DC 20401, (202) 512-0132.
    • WALK IN AND PICK UP PHONE ORDERS: Please call the GPO Contact Center at 202-512-1800 or the Main Bookstore at 202-512-0132 to place your order and request same day pick up on the day of release.  Your order will be ready to pick up at the Main Bookstore from the official release time up to 4:00 pm Eastern Time. 
  • PAYMENT OPTIONS: GPO Superintendent of Documents Deposit Account (What is this?) or major credit card (American Express, Discover/NOVUS, MasterCard or Visa) are accepted online and in person. Checks or cash are accepted only in person at the Main Bookstore.

Description of the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget Documents

Each year, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) prepares the President's proposed Federal Government budget for the upcoming Federal fiscal year, which includes the Administration's budget priorities and proposed funding. 

For Fiscal Year (FY) 2015-- which runs from October 1, 2014, through September 30, 2015-- OMB has produced the FY 2015 Federal Budget in four print volumes plus an all-in-one CD-ROM:

  1. the main "Budget" document with the Budget Message of the President, information on the President's priorities and budget overviews by agency, and summary tables;
  2. "Analytical Perspectives" that contains analyses that are designed to highlight specified subject areas;
  3. "Historical Tables" that provides data on budget receipts, outlays, surpluses or deficits, Federal debt over a time period
  4. an "Appendix" with detailed information on individual Federal agency programs and appropriation accounts that constitute the budget. 
  5. A CD-ROM version of the Budget is also available which contains all the FY 2015 budget documents in PDF format along with some additional supporting material in spreadsheet format.

Prices:

  • Price for all four printed volumes plus the CD-ROM:  $250 including Free U.S. delivery
  • Price for just the four printed volumes (no CD-ROM): $222 including Free U.S. delivery
