Aeronautical Information Publication (INTL)

The Federal Aviation Administration's Aeronautical Information Publication is the international version of the similarly named Aeronautical Information Manual (which is for the U.S. airspace only). In addition to the specific information on the international airports for use by the international community, this subscription service provides all the official information required for flying in U.S. National Airspace (NAS), including:

  • U.S. national aviation regulations and requirements,
  • tables and codes,
  • aviation-related services (including aeronautical information services, aeronautical charts, air traffic services, communication services, meteorological, search and rescue, and aircraft rescue and fire fighting communications), and
  • charges for all aerodromes/heliports and air navigation services in the United States of America.

Also contains items of interest to pilots concerning health and medical facts, factors affecting flight safety, a pilot/ air traffic controller glossary of terms used in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) System, and information on safety, accident, and hazard reporting.
