The United States Code (US Code) is the Code of Laws of the United States of America and is a compilation and codification by subject matter of all the general and permanent Federal laws of the United States. This volume contains codified Federal laws as of 2012 pertaining to war/national defense and national commercial space programs.

Subtitle VI covers the Access of Space and includes laws and guidance on the use of the Space Shuttle or alternatives.
